Why It’s So Difficult For Men to Ask For Help

Boot camps for men are becoming popular, and it’s not surprising that there is skepticism and even outright criticism of them.

For people who don’t understand them, like comedian Chelsea Handler, these boot camp experiences may look strange, and even, well, stupid.

I completely disagree.

These boot camps are a rite of passage for men who want to gain certainty from within themselves, and become better husbands and fathers.

Centuries ago, young men went through rites of passage like hunting a predator, but we no longer do this.

Men who want to become strong have to hunt a wolf, figuratively, so they can become better men.

It’s a Barbie World! Vivian and Raul Review The Barbie Movie

On this episode of the GMS Podcast, review their lessons from watching Barbie. While many people are getting bogged down on whether this movie empowers women or is too woke, our review focuses on the events portrayed in the movie, and leaves politics at the door. In the movie, Barbie is having a perfect day, every day. But one day, things are not perfect, and she doesn’t know what to do with herself. In the movie, Barbie has to learn who she is when she doesn’t have the perfect life with the perfect high arches and the Malibu dream house. Ken also has his own journey where he has to discover who he is without being Barbie’s boyfriend. The movie is meant to be fun, but it’s surprisingly thought-provoking. Watch this video to help you decide if you want to watch Barbie with your favorite lady.

How to Make an Impact by Going Against the Grain

In this episode of the King’s Code, my special guests are members of the EDGE Inner Circle Ron McKay, Darin Garman, and Eric Delgado. These are three successful business owners and high achievers in every area of their lives. This podcast was recorded in the Valuetainment studio, thanks to my good friend and mentor Patrick Bet-David. This podcast was recorded during Patrick’s Mastermind event, “The Vault.” In this episode, the four of us discuss what it’s like to really level up in life. It’s hard: You have to do hard things without expecting a reward and make hard decisions knowing that they may turn out to be the wrong ones. But the reward of working hard is making an impact.
