Why silence kills relationships

Podcast - The Daily Edge

We are in the middle of a time of introspection. After Covid kept us home, the death of George Floyd inspired us to take to the streets.

How can we learn to love each other the way God loves all of us? How can we best connect with and learn from people who are so different from us? Is there really a gift in this pain? As always, Raul and Vivian are here to talk frankly with each other about their experiences with discrimination, the insights they gained from raising children in this uncertain time, and what we can still learn from Jesus nearly 2,000 years after he was killed for threatening the social order of his day.

Exploring Fulfillment and Growth: Insights from Jarek Tadla and Raul Villacis

On this episode of the King’s Code podcast, my guest is my good friend, EDGE Inner Circle member Jarek Tadla. Jarek shares his journey from a dishwashing immigrant to a successful entrepreneur, highlighting the importance of emotional fitness and inner work for true happiness and fulfillment. We discuss the power of self-belief, community support, and the pursuit of self-discovery, challenging the notion that material success equates to happiness. The episode emphasizes the importance of building emotional resilience, seeking community support, and focusing on personal growth to overcome feelings of inadequacy and find genuine fulfillment.

Tadla’s story illustrates that true wealth and happiness come from within. His journey emphasizes the need for emotional intelligence, the impact of surrounding oneself with a supportive community, and the courage to embrace vulnerability. Personal growth is supported by a tribe that provides belief and encouragement. Fulfillment is not just about achieving external success but also about continuous self-discovery and growth, with a focus on emotional fitness and the strength gained from community bonds.
