Are you addicted to drama?

Are you drawn to drama?

Do you put on the latest tabloid news, even though you know it’s pretty meaningless, but you can’t stop yourself from watching it anyway?

How about your own life? Are you attracting drama in your life?

In the latest episode God, Money & Purpose, Vivian and I dissect and deconstruct the drama. We discuss why people are drawn to it, and what they can do to avoid drama.

But, that said, not all drama is bad. Often, you have to fight for a relationship, and that can involve tough conversations. Sometimes, it’s hard to tell where the constructive conversations stop and the destructive drama begins.

The solution is having self-awareness and emotional fitness to have the tough conversations and come out stronger on the other side.

Is Jordan Peterson A Hero to Losers or Voice of the Voiceless?

On this episode of the King’s Code Podcast, I react to Jordan Peterson being interviewed by Piers Morgan. Peterson is a controversial public figure. Depending on who you ask, he can be a voice to the voiceless, helping men who cannot help themselves; or he is the public figure of a group of angry, horny men who can’t get dates. Olivia Wilde’s movie, “Don’t Worry Darling,” has a character who is a cult leader, and many people interpret the character as a slightly exaggerated depiction of Peterson. In this interview, Peterson got choked up talking about the young men who look up to him. What can we make of this man? Is it all an act? Is he a hero or a charlatan? And what can we learn about the incel movement? Is it a movement of men bringing each other up or are they holding each other down? Watch this video to see my reaction to this viral moment.

How do you know you are in a Toxic Relationship?

On this special episode of the God, Money & Purpose Podcast, Raul and Vivian discuss toxic relationships. Raul and Vivian have been married 24 years, they were not 24 straight years of married bliss. In fact, looking back, they were once in a toxic relationship. Because having feelings of love and affection for each other does not automatically mean that the relationship is good. Having proper communication, commitment, connection, and certainty is what makes a good relationship. In contrast, a relationship full of criticism, lack of trust, and isolation make for a toxic relationship. But, the good news is that you can overcome a toxic relationship together and create a lasting bond in a healthy way, if you are willing to put in the work.

How to Make an Impact by Going Against the Grain

In this episode of the King’s Code, my special guests are members of the EDGE Inner Circle Ron McKay, Darin Garman, and Eric Delgado. These are three successful business owners and high achievers in every area of their lives. This podcast was recorded in the Valuetainment studio, thanks to my good friend and mentor Patrick Bet-David. This podcast was recorded during Patrick’s Mastermind event, “The Vault.” In this episode, the four of us discuss what it’s like to really level up in life. It’s hard: You have to do hard things without expecting a reward and make hard decisions knowing that they may turn out to be the wrong ones. But the reward of working hard is making an impact.
