How do you know that you’re the absolute best at doing something in the entire world?
There are few ways to know:
A gold medal. A world record. A championship belt. And being the highest-paid person in your field.
The mind is like a rubber band: you can stretch it but it will always come back to where it feels most comfortable. We have to be present to that, because the higher you are, the bigger the fall can be. The fastest way to fall is to think you’ve made it.
We are in the middle of a time of introspection. After Covid kept us home, the death of George Floyd inspired us to take to the streets.
