The 5 Levels of Energy to have more Motivation and Energy

The 5 Levels of Energy to have more Motivation and Energy

Podcast - The Daily Edge

What is your return on energy? I believe that everything is energy. What you focus on you give energy to, and what you focus on gives you energy in return. This applies to people, news, actions, thoughts, etc. Your ROE is how much energy you put into something and how much you get in return. Some things can bring your energy up, and others can bring you down.

1- The victim/scarcity mindset
You are looking to place blame on others. You take away energy from others.
2- Energy neutral
The sedated warrior stage. You have the energy to get things done, but not enough to take risks. You are comfortable with the way things are.
3- Energy neutral high
You want to take action, you start planning, but you also spend more time planning than acting. You are waiting for permission to act.
4- Energy rich
This is the awakened king’s energy. There is no doubt that you will figure out how because you are attracting the who that will figure out the how. This is the moment you commit to figuring it out no matter what.
5- Energy super rich
This is the ultimate energy state. You are tapping into your purpose. You are able to bring up energy in those around you and rally them to your cause.

Overcoming Entrepreneurship Burnout: The 5 Levels of Commitment

Overcoming Entrepreneurship Burnout: The 5 Levels of Commitment

Podcast - The Daily Edge

There are 5 levels of commitment. Your reason why and your clarity on why you want to succeed is what makes the difference between success and failure. The reason WHY is a reflection of your commitment.

1 – “I have to.”
This is the weakest level of commitment. At this level, you work out of obligation. You will find any excuse not to follow through. At this level, you are constantly drained of energy because you’re always overcoming excuses and waiting to be motivated.

2 – “I need to.”
This is a stronger level of commitment because your reason why is stronger than your excuses. But you still work out of guilt and obligation. You have a needy energy, which repels abundance. You will bend your values to get what you want.

3 – “I want to.”
This energy will get some results, but they will come with casualties. The “I want to” is the warrior. The warrior gets shit done, but the warrior only cares about himself. As a result, there is a high cost to getting results.

4 – “I must”
The “I must” energy gives you creativity and innovation. You find a way when most people can’t. The “why” is bigger than you, so nothing will stop you until you happen.

5 – “I get to”
This is the most powerful level of commitment. This is the level where you appreciate the journey. You get to give value, or provide for your family, etc. You don’t have to wait to get to some level of success before you are happy, you’re already happy. When you have the perspective of “I get to,” there are no excuses, only reasons why

It takes mastery to get to the “I get to” energy. The “I get to” energy is synonymous with the King mindset. When you are a King, you are enjoying the journey and expanding your capacity as you go.

(4 REASONS) Why you are not making an impact as a leader

(4 REASONS) Why you are not making an impact as a leader

Podcast - The Daily Edge

The measure of a man’s success is the impact he creates in the world. Making that impact is a choice you make every day to go above and beyond. There are four mistakes that most men make when they try to make an impact:

  1. You think that people are going to agree with us. It’s not up to other people to believe in you, it’s up to you to convince them.
  2. You think you know what people want. You can’t know better than your customer. You have to fall in love with your customer, not your product.
  3. You think success is going to happen overnight. Leadership is not a sprint, it’s a marathon, and you have to have the stamina not to give up. You make an impact day by day, not all at once.
  4. You think it’s going to be easier than it really is. When your expectations aren’t met, you begin to doubt yourself and your mission. Success is going to be twice as hard as you think it is.
