On this special episode of the God, Money & Purpose Podcast, Raul and Vivian discuss toxic relationships. Raul and Vivian have been married 24 years, they were not 24 straight years of married bliss. In fact, looking back, they were once in a toxic relationship. Because having feelings of love and affection for each other does not automatically mean that the relationship is good. Having proper communication, commitment, connection, and certainty is what makes a good relationship. In contrast, a relationship full of criticism, lack of trust, and isolation make for a toxic relationship. But, the good news is that you can overcome a toxic relationship together and create a lasting bond in a healthy way, if you are willing to put in the work.
